Today we had a special day where we made ANZAC biscuits just like the biscuits the soldiers were sent by their families during WW1. Thanks yo to Mrs McKenzie and Mrs Main for helping us make our yummy biscuits.
At 12 o'clock our whole school held a special service led by Mrs Lyons and Mrs Robinson and helped by Mrs Walker and Mr Parsons. We wore our poppies and laid a wreath under the flagpole. Now we know what to expect if we are lucky enough to attend the ANZAC Day Parade with our families.

Welcome back to a busy Term 2.I have been without my laptop for 3 weeks so I am now back in swing with our blog.
During my holiday, we stayed with wonderful friends in Melbourne. Zack and Callum are nearly 5, so just a little bit younger than the children in Room 2. Poor Callum broke his leg over Easter so wasn't able to get out and about.I showed them Room 2's blog and we had fun playing some of the games. This is a photo of us having fun and one of us with Kathy, their lovely mum.
If you have friends or family who live somewhere else in New Zealand or overseas, why not tell them about our blog, so they can have some fun and see what you have been up to at school.

When we complete the challenge we will get a special surprise.
