Today when I was at school I was lucky enough to see our last butterfly hatch out. It has been over a month since it changed into its chysalis. It has been so cold it has taken twice as long as normal.

On the last day of Term 2 we had a party to farewell 6 children moving on to Room 1. We played pass the parcel, musical chairs and showed off our dancing skills. We had delicious cupcakes, fairybread and yummy fresh pineappple & kiwifriut. We hope Max, Lachlan, Cody, Reuben, Sophie and Rilla enjoy their new class. Imagine having to go down to the river to collect water every day for washing and cooking. You can see by the look on Max's face that it was a very hard job.
