Today we had our first Kickstart session for 2012. Hamish, Melody and Samantha will be joining Room 2 later this term and Zoe, Pipi, Hannah and Tyler will join us at the beginning of Term 2.We had a lovely afternoon getting to know each other.

We are about to learn all about Water and the Water Cycle. This diagram shows how it works.

Yesterday we had our first try at our new reading rotation. Each day we have a different kind of activity. Mrs Paterson was really proud of how well we did. It was lots of fun and Mrs Paterson has lots more things in our new cupboards to help us have fun learning new things.

Last night we had a family picnic at school and then our mums and dads went to the meet all the teachers. If was fun playing in the playground at night.

Last week we met our Big Buddies from Room 10. They are the biggest children in the school and we are the smallest. we are going to have lots of fun with them this year.
