Today we had our 3rd session of hockey skills. we have been learning to dribble the ball. A few of us have found it quite confusing learning how to hold our sticks correctly as they don't have left handed hockeys sticks.
Today we played "Rob the nest" and "Creep up Granny" which was lots of fun.
It was lovely having Mackenzie come for her first visit today .

Today we had fun with our big buddies being recorded reading our poems. It was exciting seeing ourselves and we were surprised at how our voices sounded so different.
Well I think we finally have action. If the video doesn't play straight away try again later.
We would love you to leave us a comment. It's easy to do. It won't show up straight away as I have to ok all comments but I will check during the weekend. Have a great weekend and keep warm.

We made a mixture with yeast, sugar and warm water. We mixed it up and left it overnight.
In the morning we found it was all bubbly and smelt like bread.

What could we do with our mixture?
We decided to add it to flour to see what would happen. Would it be work better than our plain flour and SR flour experiment?
This is what happened.

We have been learning how to be scientists. We read stories about "The little Red Hen". We had "Wonderings" about what would happen if we added different things to flour. We chose 2 questions to experiment with.
"I wonder what would happen if we added just a little bit of milk to the flour?"
"I wonder what would happen if we added a lot of milk to the flour?"
This is what we discovered.
Click on images to make them bigger, or pop into school and look at our "wonderings".
