The morning after the storm:

What a wild, wild day and night. I had to wear shorts!!!!! and wade through deep water just to get out of my street to go to school! What a sight. Luckily the water was no longer lapping at the doors.
When I got to school we found Room 10 was inaccessible so they get a day at home!!! The playground is a mess and all the shade sails are ripped and tattered. Let's hope that is the worst of it.

Hey Mrs Patterson and Room 2. You are doing such an awesome job with your blog. I liked looking at your storm photos. It is all very sad but it was so nice to actually see the water, to know what you were writing about. The sails look a mess. i hope you get some new ones before summer.

Hi Karen
Just wanted to say how powerful yr blog is and what an example you are to using Web 2.0 tools. You just get on with it and your blog looks terrific. I see you have an extra 200 hits since I looked last time, so people are looking. Or perhaps Deb has been super busy.
I hear alot that small people can't blog, but you are living proof that small people can..... with the support of their teacher. It we used the same reasoning and said small people can't read and sat back and did nothing, then what would happen? Of course small people can read... with the support of their teacher. Well done
